Micromax YU Yuphoria Mobile New Launching At Amazon on 12th May 2015





Display, Processor and Platform
The Yu Yuphoria sports a big 5.5-inch IPS LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels (HD) leading to a pixel density of 267ppi.

Acting as the brains of the Yu Yuphoria is a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon. It is assisted by a 2GB DDR3 RAM thereby exhibiting powerful and silky smooth performance. One of the key highlights of the device is its Cyanogen 12 OS which is based on Google's latest Android v5.0 Lollipop OS.

Camera and Storage
At the back of the Yu Yuphoria, we have a 13MP autofocus camera and LED flash which has the ability to shoot full HD videos at 30fps. It is accompanied by a 5MP snapper at the front which can be used for capturing selfies and enjoying video calls. For storage purposes, it is packed with an internal memory of 16GB which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.

Battery and Connectivity
The Yu Yuphoria keeps the show running for a fair period of time without any disturbance thanks to a non removable Li-Po battery of 2,540mAh. Moving to the connectivity and networking section, we have options like 4G (specific regions), 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS and USB port.

Verdict
The Yu Yuphoria is the second member to be launched from Micromax's sub-brand Yu with the name being decided by an online voting. The device, just like its sibling, will sport Cyanogen OS based on Google's latest platform, Lollipop. It renders top notch performance thanks to the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and supports 4G networks as well.
